BELLEVUE, Wash. — All lanes of I-405 between Renton and Bellevue will be closed the weekend of Sept. 9-10 while crews rework the Northeast 44 Street interchange. Exits 5 and 10 will also both be closed in addition to the 44th Street bridge. This construction is a necessary part of the I-405 Renton to Bellevue Widening and Express Toll Lanes Project according to the Washington State Department of Transportation. Drivers are asked to slow down while traveling through the work zone for the safety of construction crews and should expect heavier traffic along alternate routes.
