Amazon.com Inc. (Nasdaq: AMZN) will let an office lease expire in Bellevue next year in a move seen as a worrying sign for the city's downtown office market. According to the Broderick Group's third quarter Eastside market report, the Seattle-based tech giant plans not to renew a 75,000-square-foot lease in Bellevue's Skyline Tower in early 2023, and is looking to sublease its remaining 55,000 square feet in the Kilroy Realty-owned building. The employees based in Skyline are relocating to Hines' nearby Summit 3, according to a person familiar with the matter.
